TD Ameritrade Olympics Ads

In this campaign for TD Ameritrade, we see Olympic athletes (from America, of course) winning some big prize, and then we go backwards, with film/videotape running backwards, into the past, to show how they developed as athletes. And that’s really fun, but what if their parents had to work all the time, and nobody was able to film them for much of their career? What would they do then?

Would they have to ask for video from stalkers and weirdos to fill out their story? Did any peeping toms accidentally get the wrong address and end up filming our future Olympic stars through their windows at home? (Don’t throw it out! We need it for our ads!) Was it like a no-questions-asked type of deal? I’m just curious about how they’d do it for someone who doesn’t have much childhood video stuff.

Or would they just say that person doesn’t get an ad? Oh, just blame them? No fair!
