Chevy Tahoe Get Fleeced by Your Babysitter Ad

In this ad for the new Chevy Tahoe, a babysitter is driven home in the Tahoe, and seeing how luxurious it (purportedly) is, she decides to try to shake down the mom for extra money.

Yes! I want to drive the car that makes everyone charge me 50% extra for everything! Sign me up! (I hope it’s inexpensive enough to make up for all the extra money we’ll shell out to everyone who gyps us because we drive a Tahoe! But even if not, at least they are warning us about this ownership issue of everything costing more once we buy one: not every company would be honest enough to warn us about the downside to buying their stuff.)

Here’s the chiseling Chevy commercial:

Chevy should follow this ad up with a campaign of similar price-gouging experiences, like an ad showing the same woman being overcharged to a ridiculous extent by a valet parking guy, and then one where she gets charged $1,000 to have her oil changed. Then surely everyone will want to buy a Chevy Tahoe! (Right? No? Why not?)
