Zoosk, the online dating site, has an online ad on YouTube
now showing pictures of two different attractive looking people and asking: “Who
do you prefer?”
Well, from my experience, people’s pictures from online
dating profiles aren’t a very accurate measure of who you might like, or what
they even look like in real life. Plus, isn’t personality important too? I’d
think there should be a button that says: “I don’t know enough about either of
them to make an informed decision”, and that could be filed away so they
wouldn’t think certain candidates are completely superficial, and then maybe
they could provide a better match.
