Values.com Honesty Ad

Some metalhead-looking pothead kid returns some woman’s purse in this extremely fictional story. Here’s what happens: Some woman allegedly “leaves her purse behind” at a bus stop, and this turpitude dude picks it up, looks at all the goodies inside, and runs off with it. So, then the cops see the criminal kid running away with the purse, so they start following him to arrest him (which is totally bigoted, since he could just be a transvestite in the purse-carrying department, so it violates his rights). So noticing this, because he’s hyper-aware of everything since he’s on crystal meth, the truant delinquent chases after the bus, and then gives the woman her purse back when she gets off the bus. But what choice did he have, what with the cops onto him and following close on his heels anyway? And then they have the nerve to have the spot end with saying: “Honesty: Pass it on.”

But little do they know, the kid stole all of her cash, credit cards, and her driver’s license, so he can steal her identity and run up millions-of-dollars-worth of stolen stuff once he’s maxed out her cards and blown all of her cash on drugs! I know what’s going on here: They’re trying to suggest that kids in skull shirts with long hair are no threat, so we’ll all let our guard down around them, and then they can rob us blind! Yeah, these criminal juvenile delinquents probably made this ad themselves and paid for it with stolen loot so they could victimize us more easily on public transportation! I know what they’re up to! They don’t fool me a bit! (And the song playing in the background sings about crying children, so they’re trying to break us down subliminally too!)

Oh, and then to top it all off, they have the police officers tell the kid what he did was cool! So you know all the kids are going to march right out there and do what the “pigs” say is great! Yes, it’s just like juvenile delinquents to want to always do what the cops say! I mean, right? So they’re definitely going to get all the young criminals out there to want to emulate the guy in this ad and always "do the right thing" from now on. There’s no question about that! I'm sure it will work.

Plus, they have the cops tempt the kid with a donut, so he’ll become obese! I guess they’re jealous that he’s in good shape, or perhaps they’re trying to make it so he’ll be easier to catch the next time they have to chase him for a crime! But what you can’t see is that the cops have planted drugs in the donut, so they can bust the kid for it once the camera stops filming! So even after doing the right thing, the cops will victimize him anyway! I knew it!

I can’t find this commercial on YouTube, but hopefully you’ve all seen it on TV and know what I’m talking about here.
