In the most recent chapter of Oliver Stone’s great America-bashing, Soviet Union-glorifying series, Oliver Stone’s Untold History of the United States, Mr. Stone opens the show bashing President George H.W. Bush by using the guilt-by-association tactic of saying his father, Prescott Bush, aided the Nazis during WWII. Then he goes on to accuse many companies and banks of doing the same sort of thing (among them Ford Motor Company, IBM, Chase Bank, JP Morgan, etc.). This stuff may be true (I really don’t know), but even if it is, is Oliver Stone really the one who should be finger-pointing about who is responsible for horrible things happening in history? Let’s take a look:
In 1987, Oliver Stone released the movie Wall Street, where he extols the virtues of greed and selfishness, brainwashing an entire industry and a whole generation of young people into wanting to be selfish and greedy. Well, we all know what this did to America: the financial crash, the huge taxpayer-funded bailouts, the executives taking lots of the bailout money as bonuses for themselves, etc. Then there were the job losses, the credit crunch, the unemployment, the recession, and perhaps most shameful of all, the mortgage meltdown, where poor people who were tricked with predatory loans inspired by Oliver Stone’s movie were evicted, sometimes using fraudulent eviction procedures, and left with nothing, and all because of Oliver Stone’s reprehensible movie. (And then the whole world economy collapsed, thanks to Oliver Stone…)
Look, we all know that Wall Street was an honest, benevolent institution full of generosity and humility until that guy Oliver Stone had to go and make greed seem so great and everything. From then on, we were lost as a society! Oh, the humanity! How horribly guilty that Oliver Stone must have felt, if he had a conscience, anyway! But what he did next confirmed him to be the psychopathic monster we all thought him to be.
That’s right: In 1994, Oliver Stone released Natural Born Killers on an unsuspecting public. His goal was to glorify and glamorize spree killings, especially spree shootings, to such an irresistible degree that everyone would be tricked, nay: forced against their will to go commit these heinous acts! And we all see the result: spree shootings all over the place, especially recently, leading us up to this current gun control debate. In fact, things have gotten so bad since Oliver Stone brainwashed everyone into becoming a murderer with his hypnotic, practically subliminal filmmaking style in Natural Born Killers, we may even have to ban guns altogether just to stop the moviegoing public from being mind-controlled by Oliver Stone into murder and mayhem galore, leaving the rest of us victims of his drones’ actions!
So as you can clearly see, Oliver Stone is responsible for most of the evils in American society through his disgusting movies. And these movies have been seen the world over, surely causing the only bad stuff that ever happens everywhere else internationally too! He even tricked people into amputating their own hands by making it seem so cool in his brilliant film: The Hand. So should he really be the one pointing fingers at others for blame about bad stuff happening in history? He obviously only made this series to distract us from all the awful stuff he is responsible for! Shame on that guy! The world would be a perfect paradise without ignorance or fear or deprivation of any kind if only it wasn’t for Oliver Stone! (That monster!)
(Just kidding! He’s only responsible for most of the world’s problems.)
