Today, following up on President Obama’s Kenyan-born uncle’s claim that the president would help him after yet another deportation order (he has had several deportation orders over the years but somehow just always managed to stay here anyway), the White House finally admitted they had lied about the president never having met this uncle of his, claiming the president actually lived with his uncle for a while in the 1980s. (Wow, they even lied about that? What haven’t they lied about at this point? Sheesh!) But the president’s uncle was quick to deny he knew or ever had met the president, changing his tune completely from earlier statements.
“You mean that guy who’s been lying to us about how we could keep our insurance? The guy who turned the NSA into Big Brother, spying on us all the time, after running on rolling back abusive government intrusion into our private lives? You mean that guy who promised to use public financing for his 2008 presidential campaign, but went back on his word? And the guy who complains bitterly about the corrosive effects of money in politics, only for him to hold non-stop fundraisers to raise more money to go into politics for his party? That guy? No, I have never met the man. I tell you I do not know him!” said the president ’s uncle Thursday when pressed by newspaper reporters.
(Just kidding! But with all the stuff going on in Washington lately, I wouldn’t blame him if he did deny knowing him! And sorry Obama supporters, I used to support President Obama too, but it’s his own fault if people no longer trust him.)
Here’s the shifty story:
