Redd's Apple Ale ran a couple of ads during the Super Bowl where someone trying to decide what to drink gets hit in the head with an apple and then decides to drink Redd's Apple Ale. I'd think that getting hit in the head with an apple might tend to make one less receptive to the idea of drinking something related to apples, but maybe I'm wrong. But doesn't the fact that it makes your head hurt even before you drink it indicate that the hangover headache after you drink it will be even worse? (Or does it get the headache out of the way beforehand so you don't get a hangover headache later?)
But if they're going to use the image of an apple hitting someone in the head in a commercial, why not use the ultimate hit-in-the-head-with-an-apple guy: Isaac Newton? And when the apple falls on his head, rather than recognizing gravity, he just decides to drink Redd's Apple Ale. And as a result, now physics classes are keg parties, rather than intricate science. And with that being the case, American college students would lead the world in science scholarship!
