I think everyone got to see this one before the Super Bowl due to the large presence of the Doritos Super Bowl ad contest online. This ad is really fun and cute, and I like it, but there is an issue with it that didn't really strike me until I saw it on the big screen today. What's that? Well, it's just that the kid basically just gives the bag of Doritos to his dog to eat. There's maybe one shot of the kid eating what looks like it's maybe a Doritos chip, but basically he gives the bag to the dog. So what this tells me is that Doritos are for gullible slacker-type people and dogs. Because for all the effort that went into making the machine, the kid doesn't actually seem to want to eat the Doritos himself. (Who knows: maybe he's taken it upon himself to save the neighborhood from junk food by whatever means necessary? Or maybe he's just out of dog food and he's trying to find creative solutions to his problem?)
Here's the sneaky spot (with a tag that actually works for a change {most tags are useless}):
