I just saw a bit of an interview with John Yoo, the Bush administration guy who authorized the use of “enhanced interrogation” techniques deployed in the “war on terror”. He said that since the removal of the Al Qaida kingpin last weekend, he feels vindicated for his controversial role in the institution of rough interrogation tactics on terrorism suspects. This is a nice break for him, since he said people have been treating him badly for years over his role in the Bush administration’s interrogation scandal. Don’t you feel sorry for him? That must have been torture for him, enduring all that horrible treatment for so long!
