When I woke up this morning, the first thing I saw was this thing on the Yahoo! homepage that said: "VIDEO PICKS: Wedding dance workout by ‘Jane Fonda of India’." This conjured up some interesting images in my head.
So, did this lady marry some outré French director, make a bunch of skin flicks and then divorce him? Is that why she’s the “Jane Fonda of India”? Or did she run off to Pakistan and get photographed sitting on some terrorist anti-aircraft battery while calling Indian people “baby-killers” and stuff? Is that why she’s the “Jane Fonda of India”? Or maybe she married some kooky billionaire who created a 24-hour news channel nobody watches anymore? No? Or did she perhaps molest Stephen Colbert on his TV show? Is that why she’s called the “Jane Fonda of India”? I just can’t think of why else she’d be called that unless at least one of those things is true.
