Nike Soccer Uniforms

I really love the Nike Soccer kits. They’re always simple, elegant, timeless. They would look just as great 50 years from now, or 50 years ago. They don’t put tacky elements into them, like immediately dated graphics, shiny fabrics with patterns on them, or anything else that would make them instantly out of fashion or easily stuck to any particular decade design-wise. I like stuff from other companies too, but they are much more hit-and-miss than the Nike ones. So often, other companies will make a great one, and by the time you see it and like it and want to buy one, they’re already doing another design, and the new one is lame. Not so with Nike, who almost always make great-looking team uniforms, whatever the year. Great job, Nike: keep it up please!

(BTW: The USA and New Zealand Women’s Soccer Team kits, as well as the Brazil Men’s Soccer Team kits are what prompted this post, but I have admired the Nike uniforms for years now, with their consistently elegant designs for all teams.)
