I see lots of pictures of gold medal-winning athletes posing with their index finger sticking up to indicate "#1" after they win. But Yahoo! had a fun slideshow of disappointed silver medal winners, and these angry athletes reminded me that the British-version of the middle finger is the index and middle fingers sticking up in what looks like a peace sign with the hand turned around. So I thought it might be fun for these fuming silver medallists with cameras sticking in their face could do the Brit "flip-off" at the camera people, and then say, if they got in trouble: "What? I was just saying I'm '#2'!"
