Kick the Habit: It's the upcoming coming-of-age comedy/drama of how a group of abused children in a Catholic foster home in 1960s Illinois eventually get tired of all the knuckle-whacking of rulers and such and finally rise up in rebellion against the tyrannical nuns that run the home.
Or, maybe it ought to be a bit more exploitationy than that, huh? Okay, so how about this:
There is a convent full of ninja nuns, all masters of different styles of martial arts, and they're brutalizing all the kids in the area for having impure thoughts or whatever, whacking hands with their double-ruler nun chucks, whipping victims with their rosaries of flagellation, etc. So a hero must rise from within the ranks of the oppressed youths, mastering over time a form of kung fu that can overcome the nuns' supreme fighting skills and "penitence punch", until he finally learns the art of the "immaculate heart-stopping kick". So it's kind of like a brutal exploitation movie meets kung fu movie, where all the bad gals wear black (because they're nuns), and there is martial arts frighting aplenty, with lots of kung fu kicking of nuns' habits.
That's Kick the Habit: Coming soon to a grindhouse or drive-in near you!
